A child of the personal computer age, I have been writing my own software since primary school. I began my working career in graphic design and pre-press, then migrated towards web design, development and multimedia in the late 90s.

I began writing productivity-based software in 2003 with some of my applications being sold worldwide and used by organisations such as NASA, Sony BMG and the US Army.

In 2008 I left full-time employment and started my own web development business. I began by building low-cost websites for small businesses, but as I became aware of the demand for more advanced customised web development, I focused my attention on this niche.

Over the past ten years I have been providing web, video, photography and 3D services for high profile customers such as Fuji Xerox Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Colonial First State, Oxford University Press, Telstra, Ray White, Motor Accidents Authority, PMP Digital and Boating Industry Association of NSW.

I have also developed a number of computer applications, smartphone apps and web-based tools and services.

My primary focus over the last five years has been on tools for customer loyalty, rewards and engagement.

Southern Cross Community Healthcare

Contract staff web app work planner console, allowing health care staff to view rostered assignments, submit time sheets, submit expense reports and download payslips.

Security Tracker

A web app for security staff to record cash pick-ups and drop-offs. Includes roster planner console, integration with Google Maps, onboard cash alert and automated reporting.

Trader planner

Interactive map and trader layout planner for Paddy’s Markets. Allows markets management to plan position of traders to maximise foot traffic and distribute trader product categories.

Impose online

A free online printer’s imposition tool allowing users to upload a PDF document, select from a range of printer’s impositions, and then download an imposed PDF. This service has imposed over 21 million pages since its introduction in 2009.

Certificate Magic

A free online personalised certificate generator. Receives over 5,000 individual users per week and has been used to create over 2.3 million certificate PDFs.

Oxford University Press obooks website

A showcase of advanced web development. It features a range of interactive educational books that users can read on their computers or tablet devices, bookmark and highlight text, look up word definitions and create notes and comments all within a browser environment.

Regals Mopar Car Club Inc

Social club membership administrator console, which automatically notifies club members of pending membership fees, automatic PDF membership card generation, email and SMS notification system and club photo gallery (currently holding over 21,000 photos).

RenderFarm Commander

A network rendering management software for use with NewTek LightWave 3D software. Released in 2004, and sold to such organisations as NASA, Sony BMG and the US Army.

ScanZ

A do-it-yourself 3D scanner. With little more than a cheap laser pointer, a digital camera, a rotating turntable and the ScanZ software, it allows anyone to trace real objects into 3D space. ScanZ has been available as freeware since 2004, and is used by 3D hobbyists worldwide.
